"The Ancestors" NOTE CARDS SET

The Back Story: Inspired by the artist's memory of her grandfather, a South Carolina sharecropper. Shavawn builds her original mixed media collage in her sketchbook using magazine cuts only to create her pallete. Warm colors to create the sense of the fall season, to juxtapose against the pain and struggle of American sharecroppers.
